The Authority is proud to announce a ribbon cutting event, and we’d love to see you there!
We worked with Closed Loop Partners to develop the first localized Materials Recovery Facility on the East Coast, and it resides within our very own Solid Waste Complex.
Known as the MRF, the facility sorts, bales, and ships to market valuable local recyclables—including paper, plastic, glass, and metals—from our existing single-stream county recycling program, which reduces our environmental impact and opens a new revenue stream for future investment in Cumberland County.
