CCIA and City of Vineland Partner to Develop New Industrial Park with Northeast Precast

The last remaining large parcel of land adjacent to State Route 55 in Vineland, N.J. will be developed, creating 150 new jobs in phase one and over 400 jobs at total build out in professional services and manufacturing, along with giving a significant economic boost to the city.

The Cumberland County Improvement Authority partnered with the City of Vineland and NEP Real Estate to obtain nearly 300 acres at the end of Lincoln Avenue in the east side of town to create, in several phases, the new 300,000-square-foot Lincoln Avenue Industrial Park.

The site developer, Northeast Precast, based in Millville, N.J. will expand its operations into Vineland by utilizing a significant amount of space in the new park, while constructing additional areas capable of accommodating other tenants. They will develop a multi-phase manufacturing operation for many of its new precast concrete products using state-of-the-art technology. Total investment is estimated at $30 million upon completion of all phases

Northeast Precast provides residential and commercial building solutions such as foundations for homes and finished materials for parking garages, highways, and bridges.

A fall Groundbreaking is anticipated. The phased development is expected to take five years, with the first phase completed within two years, subject to change.

The development also includes significant transportation improvements around the site, including an extension of the Winchester and Western Railroad, revised traffic design for the Lincoln Avenue and Main Road intersection, and extension of Burns Avenue. Also, a small portion of the park is set aside for expansion of the Vineland Municipal Utility’s Clayville substation, which abuts the land.
