MILLVILLE, NEW JERSEY. (November 26, 2024) – The Authority is proud to announce its 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Drop-Off Program, administered by the Cumberland County Recycling and Clean Communities Program, in partnership with Deerfield Acres Farm.

Beginning December 26, Cumberland County residents will have the opportunity to drop off their unwanted Christmas trees for FREE. All Christmas trees will be donated to the animals at Deerfield Acres Farm in Millville, NJ.

Cumberland County residents are encouraged to drop off their unwanted Christmas trees from December 26, 2024, through January 31, 2025, during daily operating hours at the Cumberland County Solid Waste Complex, located at 169 Jesse Bridge Road, Millville, NJ 08332. The Solid Waste Complex is open Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm and Saturdays 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Please note, only natural Christmas trees will be accepted (not artificial). In addition, trees must be free of flocking snow, lights, decorations, and tree stands.

“The Authority is proud to provide Cumberland County residents with an outlet for their unwanted Christmas trees,” said Samantha DeFrancisco, Cumberland County Recycling and Clean Communities Coordinator. “We are excited to partner with Deerfield Acres Farm for our 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Drop-Off Program and give the Christmas trees a second life.”

“The Annual Christmas Tree Drop-Off Program is another example of The Authority giving back to our community. We are proud to host this program to Cumberland County residents, free of cost, while also supporting our local partner, Deerfield Acres,” said Albert B. Kelly, Chairman.
